Hello all I hope you are well and I’m so sorry I have not been active on this account in years. My apologies for anyone inquiring about the Mads Mikkelsen filmography masterpost— unfortunately I lost the storage account where I hosted the files and no longer have access to those film and movie titles. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope y'all are staying safe.

willgrahamcrackercrumbs:

I recently saw a post titled
“Problems with being a male”, and I felt that these are problems that need to be addressed, so let’s get into it.

1. Having emotions is seen as weakness
What does having emotions equate to (according to men)? That’s right, being womanly. What enforces this presumption? The patriarchy. Who controls the patriarchy? MEN DO.

2. Admitting weakness is seen as an even greater weakness.
Same thing. Everyone has weaknesses. Men are just ashamed to admit them because “society forces them to be strong and the breadwinners”, when it is men themselves who have appropriated that idea, check your fucking facts

3. Being called a sexual deviant or a pervert because you were expressing your sexuality
“Expressing your sexuality” and sexual harassment are two totally different ball games. If you’re not doing anything that makes a woman uncomfortable or threatened in a sexual manner, you won’t be called a sexual deviant. But if you think a woman owes it to you to become your plaything and you’re upset that she doesn’t want to be treated like a sexual object, then you’re out of your mind, bub.

4. A girl beating you in any physical competition makes you inferior
Inferior to whom, I wonder. Certainly not women, because women don’t have the power to make you feel inferior. And they are not the ones who will mock you for being “weak like a girl”. Who came up with the idea that girls are weak and physically incapable? Men. What supports this idea? The patriarchy. See a common theme here yet?

5. Being superficial makes you a pig but a woman being superficial is fine
This is the biggest joke of all. All you men who think women owe it to you to touch your nads and “slut it up” for you, you’re the ones who are superficial, and you do not see anything wrong with this. Yet you call women out on being “shallow, frigid, bitchy” every time their values and ideals do not line up with yours

6. Makeup isn’t even an option
If you want to wear makeup, there is no one stopping you but yourself and your comrades. This is an issue between men, and it’s again, a stigma of the patriarchy, that anything even remotely womanly is invalid when it comes to human worth.

6. Not living up to the insanely unrealistic ideal of manhood automatically makes you gay
INSANELY UNREALISTIC IDEAL OF MANHOOD? THAT WHO CREATED? MEN!!! And how realistic is the ideal OF womanhood, that a woman should be dominated and pacified and nothing but a trophy and a baby machine to a man who claims her? TAKE A SEAT

7. Being gay is seen as weak
By whom? Men. Patriarchy.

8. Being gay in general
First if all this doesn’t even make sense. “Being gay in general is a problem”. Why? Because men are so afraid of not appearing manly, an issue they’ve brought upon themselves. And because they are generally homophobic, because the thought that sexual advances could make omen uncomfortable is completely preposterous to them unless it is from a man to another man. Check yourself.

9. You can’t control the size of your “manhood”
WHO. THE FUCK. CARES. Having a big dick doesn’t mean anything, especially if you are one.

10. You can’t report sexual assaults because being a male victim is worse than being the rapist
According to whom? ACCORDING TO WHOM??? This makes a mockery out of women and sexual assault because THEY are the ones who can’t come forward without being ridiculed and tortured and probably never seeing justice. What do men fave? Embarrassment and pity that they goose to bring upon themselves. Ostensibly that really worse than being blamed for your assault? Is it?

10. No male specific support groups or movements
There are male support groups and there are male movements, but these movements aren’t going anywhere until men realize the problem lies within the patriarchy, not with women.

11. Unequal parental rights
If this has to do with abortion, pipe the FUCK down. You have no right to tell a woman what she can and can’t do with or to her body. And if this has to do with divorce, check your facts, the court system does not favor mothers, ESPECIALLY in cases involving domestic abuse on the paternal side.

12. Extreme feminists treating you less than human
What, a girl on the internet says she hates men and the patriarchy because she has been assaulted 4 times? And you’re offended that she doesn’t trust men and that she won’t give you the time of say? I am so sorry let me get you a kleenex.

13. Women can blame all men or say they are all the same but if a man blames women they’re sexist pigs
Women accuse men of misogyny and perpetuation of racism, sexism, homophobia, and prejudice of all peoples should are not cissexual white straight males. Men blame women for “being slutty”.

13. People dismissing your problems automatically because the universe is obviously rigged in your favour in every scenario imaginable
No ones dismissing your problems. We’re yelling you that you caused your problems, and letting you do with that what you will.

14.No one will read this past the title
Oh we read past the title. We just can’t ignore the stupidity.

Yes there’s problems with being a male, the #1 problem being that 90% of you fail to understand your privilege and continue to perpetuate the belief that the patriarchal society is doing good for all peoples.

“I feel very fortunate to be in this position, and I know that it means more to people because I am an African and I am dark-skinned. In many ways me being on the scene is doing for little girls everywhere what Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg did for me. My world exploded by them being on screen. Hopefully I will inspire and be meaningful to other people.”
